SUNDAY LEAGUE: Newlands into Kenward Cup semis after Angel Reserves success

Newlands beat Division Two side Angel Reserves 4-1 to set up a Kenward Cup semi-final against fierce rivals Trafalgar.

Kurt Williamson scored Angel's solitary goal that levelled the game up, but the top flight side showed their class with three unanswered goals to seal the win.

Following on from their NRCFA Sunday Challenge Cup success against Angel on Friday night, Trafalgar romped to a 16-0 win against West Pier.

Boss Col Jenkinson shuffled his pack from their cup final victory, Chris Dove leading their charge with five goals.

Mikey Barker followed up his brace on Friday night with a hat-trick, while Tyson Stubbings and Josh Young both hit two goals each.

Traf's other goals came from club stalwart Alex Sheader, Luke Jones and player-boss Jenkinson.

Skipper Tyler Richardson was their man of the match.

Hush claimed a 6-3 win against Ayton Reserves in Division Two.

Callum Myers led the Hush charge with four goals, striker Zac Hansen hitting their other two.

Ryan Link and Aidan McCallion were Hush's star men.

Player-boss Steven Frederiksen, Chris Hannam and Liam Scott were on the scoresheet for Ayton.

Midfielders Scott Davison and Jamie Heritage impressed for Ayton.
