SCARBOROUGH Ladies under-16s continue to dominate the opposition in the City of York Girls League, stretching their lead at the top of the table with a big home win against Tockwith.
The goals came thick and fast in the first half, and the score was 8-0 at half-time.
Goal number one came from Chantel Padgham, who collected a pass from Gem Brady to fire home the opener.
Lucy Ambler notched the first of a hat-trick soon after - Chloe Bennett setting her up with a neat pass.
Brady got in on the act next to score the third, following up Ambler’s well-saved drive.
Padgham notched her second two minutes later, and then set up Ambler for a second of her own to make it 5-0.
Simone Stephenson scored her first goal for the club to make the score 6-0, and Bennett added the next goal from outside the area, making it seven.
Before half-time Ambler completed her hat-trick, with a strong header from Padgham’s corner.
After half-time Padgham followed in Brady’s shot to complete her own hat-trick.
The away side pulled a goal back after a momentary lapse of concentration by Scarborough, but the home team reached double figures when Dani Kendrick played in Chloe Bennett to hit her second and Boro’s 10th goal of the game.
