The 15-year-old Scarborough College pupil won South Cliff’s Club Championship by seven shots with a level par round of 75, 69, before adding North Cliff’s silverware to his ever-growing collection just a week later.

Risker shot a four-over-par 72, 76 to seal the victory at North Cliff, edging out runner-up Marcus Moore by two shots.

“I’m ecstatic to have won both of these events, however in the grand scheme of things I’m trying to achieve, it’s just a building block,” said Risker.

“I’d like to thank my coach Ivan Oliver for the last six years. He’s been key to where I have got to.

“I’d also like to thank Scarborough College, I’m excited to be involved in their golf academy.

“The long term goal is to play as high up the professional ranks as I can get through years of hard work.”
