SCARBOROUGH Gymnastics Academy is holding its fourth annual week of Christmas displays at the new dedicated gymnastics centre on Barry’s Lane.
This year, the displays feature the talents of over 250 performers from Scarborough Gymnastics Academy.
The first display of the week was held on Monday 11 December and showcased the talents of the competitive gymnastic age group squads.
The ‘Gym Stars’ recreational gymnastic classes will perform a class display throughout the week, which will allow the perfect opportunity for all of the gymnasts to showcase the hardwork and commitment they have put in throughout the year.
Head coach Nikii Walker said: “It is our aim to get all ages from tots to teenagers tumbling through SGA and to provide them with coaching that allows them to excel as gymnasts.
“This year’s Christmas display is our biggest and best yet and this is their chance to show everyone what they can do.
“I would like to say a big thank you to all of the volunteers, coaches and gymnasts who have helped to make our competitive and recreational Christmas displays fantastic.
“Well done to everybody who has been involved in making it such a success.”
Taking part in this year’s display will be the following groups:
SGA Shooting Stars, SGA Gym stars 1, 2 & 3, SGA Allstars, the pre-development squad, under-10s development squad, primary national boys, primary national mixed team, primary national girls team, junior national girls team and the junior regional girls team.
