Whitby Motocross Club will be holding a meeting at their spectacular, nationally-acclaimed Skelder Bank circuit, near Whitby, on Sunday.
This is the last round of the 2011 Club Championship and promises some exciting, competitive racing as the riders try to improve their final positions.
Riders from all over Yorkshire and the North East will be racing for the honours and the prizes against other Whitby Club members from as far afield as Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Lancashire, Scotland and Nottinghamshire to mention just a few, such is the popularity of this venue.
Mark Hodges from East Ayton is leading the Intermediate class but the top 10 or so places are close and he could be eclipsed if one of several other riders in the top 10 or so scores a good total of points.
This includes his brother Lee, who is currently lying sixth.
All the other classes are equally finely poised and good racing should be guaranteed.
As usual there will be five classes, each racing over three legs and to wind up the day an all-comers final.
That is 16 races to give the adult spectators great value for their £5 entry money, children aged under 16 accompanied by a parent are let in free.
It all starts at 10.30am with the practice sessions and the first race will get under way at approximately 11.30am.
