Scarborough ABC pair Harry Ingle and his cousin Joe Cappleman were in action at South Normanton School of Boxing’s show on Friday.
Ingle, 14, finished his season in outstanding fashion with a superb win against home fighter Maximilian Cowling.
The Scarborough youngster was quickest out of the blocks and his superior hand speed, footwork and defensive skills saw him grab a unanimous points victory.
Coach John Brownlie said: “Harry has improved so much this season.
“He’s boxed for Yorkshire in Guernsey, won the Yorkshire Cup and has really come on this year.
“He couldn’t have asked for a better performance to finish a great season.”
Ingle’s cousin Joe Cappleman, 10, was also in action in a skills bout against Jacob Walker.
Cappleman showed great promise in what could be his final skills bout before turning 11 ahead of next season.
Westway ABC prospect Kieran Glave made it three wins from three after a win over Joe Maloney in Hull.
Fighting at the Vulcan ABC show, Glave took on fellow 16-year-old Maloney from Stamford.
Glave lost the first round against his tricky opponent, but once he managed to establish himself in the contest, his superior fitness and punching power saw him take the second and third rounds to take the unanimous points win.
Glave’s stablemate Lewis Spaven is in training for the Hull Box Cup in six weeks time.
Westway coach George Rhodes said: “Lewis could be one hell of a talent, he’s looking forward to boxing again at the Hull Box Cup in six weeks time.”
