An Arab stallion owned by Lisa Smith from Whitby, has recently qualified to compete in Europe on the International circuit.

The sIx-year-old handsome bay, ‘Psyrios Contender MWA’ was recently competing at the Northern Arabian Horse Show held at Bishop Burton College, which is an Arab Horse Society ‘C’ status show where the top three in each ECAHO (European Conference of Arab Horse Organisations) class then qualify for ‘A’ status shows. Psyrios Contender MWA, known as Connor at home, was third in a very competitive stallion in hand class, which was an impressive result for the young horse and earned him a place on the elite circuit.

Lisa, who trains with Cara Shardlow at her Sneantonthorpe yard near Whitby, has only owned the horse for just under a year.

As a result of Connor’s recent success Lisasaid: “I am delighted with his performance and we are now looking forward to a very busy show season indeed.”
