Sunday sees rideoffroaduk running the first round of the “Awesome Enduro Iron Man Challenge” at Low North Park near Scarborough.

The two-man team atmosphere will be great to see, friends and rivals team up for the weekend, they ride for as long as they like, incorporating exciting pit lane changeovers, this allows riders to take a well earned break during the event while their partner is out clocking up the laps.

Riders can share or use their own machine with same race number as their partner.

The format for the event is simple, an ”Open Challenge” class for Expert and Clubman grade riders, either iron man or two man team, and “Club Challenge” class for Sportsman, beginner, All Vets and Ladies class riders, iron man or two man team.

One race starting at 11am sharp running for four hours

The Solo Ironman class is one race alone for four hours, pits stops, race strategy and a desire to succeed are the vital ingredients for a good result in this tough class.

The long course around Low North Camp, Harwood Dale, will be around 18 minutes per lap, incorporating massive woodland areas, the MX track, stream crossings and many open tracks and trails.

The event starts at 11am sharp, catering and all the facilities which Low North Park boasts will be on site.

Entrance fee of £5 for adults and £2.50 for juniors allows a great spectacle for any motorcycles fans to watch, and there is hard standing spectator parking.

The event is signed with orange arrows from Harwood Dale.
