St Augustine’s School’s gymnasts have once again been successful in the Inter-Schools competition.
The competition was held at George Pindar Community Sports College, and was organised by Stephanie Goodall at Raincliffe/Graham School.
All those who took part peformed very well with the St Augustine’s competitors walking away with a handful of medals and trophies.
Both the St Augustine’s Junior and Senior teams managed to retain their titles, taking first place in the team competition.
The intermediates finished in third place having just been pipped to second place by Eskdale by 1.2 of a points.
This was the second year that boys were allowed to compete.
St Augustine’s was once again the only school to field male competitors, Jake Marshall in the intermediate team and Adam Sharp who was part of the winning senior team and also came third overall in the individual senior competition.
Other individual results include Rebecca Lockwood who came first overall in the individual senior competition and Tiffany Harrison who came third overall in the individual Junior competition.
