Scarborough rider James Tadman is celebrating after picking up victory in the North East Motorcycle MiniTwin Championship in Scotland.
The 22-year-old was seven points adrift of the leader heading into the 12th and last round in East Fortune, but a comprehensive win for the Scarborough man handed him the overall victory by a comfortable 36 points.
A delighted Tadman said: “This was my first championship win, it’s a bit overwhelming and I have to thank my dad and Sam Park, who both help me out during events.
“I also have to thank my sponsors Road Racing Ireland and WVS Autocare, and also Pete Hillerby and everyone at Auto 66 for their help.”
Tadman is always on the hunt for new sponsors, anyone interested should contact him on 07774 888 819 or via his Facebook page ‘ Tadman Racing.’
