The sun shone on Scarborough DMC as they held their Eskdale Stone sponsored Super Youth 2 Day at the weekend at the famous old army camp of Low North Park.

Competition proved fierce in all classes with Huddersfield’s Jack Price pipping Richmond’s Rob Waite for the win in Youth A class.

Scarborough’s Michael Todd was just one behind second place man Thomas Minta overnight in Youth B class, but just dropped off the pace slightly on Sunday after a poor first lap, but held third place.

Zac Collinson, also from Scarborough and sponsored by Feet Up Trials Sport narrowly missed the win in C class as Daniel Slack put in a cracking ride to win by seven marks. Callum Williamson finished fourth in his class.

Dave Chilton, a larger than life character from Whitby, and a great stalwart of Scarborough club, was out and about again after his recent heart op and looks as fit as a butcher’s pup.

Dave sends a message to all concerned with his well being and says: “Thank you very much for all your phone calls and concern. I am now back out on a bike and fighting fit.”
