Brining bags new deal at York City Knights
Scarborough's rugby league star Kriss Brining has agreed a new one-year deal with Betfred Championship side York City Knights.
Brining returned to York after a spell with Betfred Super League outfit Salford Red Devils having initially enjoyed five seasons with the Knights after coming through the ranks.
The Scarborough born hooker is the youngest player to have represented the Knights, making his debut at the age of 17.
“I’m very happy to be back at the club for another year. It was an easy decision to be honest," Brining told the Knights' website.
“The club seems to be in a very good position, on and off the field, and I think that is shown with the recent signings, retention of players and the number of fans that have been coming every week.”
