Scarborough Pirates’ 100 per cent record in group one of the Yorkshire Men’s League was halted by an 28-16 home defeat against Drighlington on Saturday.

Adam Lee’s side are still top of the table though, and with second-placed Birstall Victoria losing out 50-16 at third-placed Hunslet Parkside Club Academy the Pirates are still favourites to claim the title.

The A team also suffered defeat but put up a great fight in their 32-20 loss at home to Bradford Dudley Hill in group two.
