Scarborough Rugby Club players to tackle 256-mile charity challenge

Scarborough RUFC’s players are set to tackle a gruelling 256-mile charity challenge in aid of Scarborough Whitby Ryedale Mind.

The club’s players will run the distance from Silver Royd to Twickenham Stadium before the start of the Six Nations to raise money for SWR Mind.

Scarborough RUFC haven’t played since the coronavirus pandemic called a halt to grassroots sport.

A club statement said: “We are running the distance from Silver Royd to Twickenham and we would really love your support for doing so and helping a charity which is close to our hearts and helps alot of people in our area.”
