Scarborough RUFC will be celebrating the life of Andrew “Mo” Stevenson on Easter Monday.

Silver Royd will host the second annual memorial rugby game in Mo’s name, with the event kicking off at 1.30pm.

Players wishing to play need to notify Simon Smith or Russ Wilkie, who will captain the Scarborough and Klosters sides or contact Graeme Jeffrey at the club,

In addition, the Klosters netball side will take on the Klosters football team in a half of netball and a half of football game, starting at 12.45pm on the main pitch prior to the Shield game.

This year the club have extended an invite to lunch to anyone wishing to remember a loved one, who was a former player or club member.

Club stalwart Barry Beanland believes that Easter Monday is a fitting day to gather at Silver Royd to recall happy days spent in the old and new clubhouse with fellow teammates.

A two-course lunch will be £25 per head - which includes a Mo polo shirt and a donation to St Catherine’s Hospice, will be served at 12noon.

You can reserve a table by contacting John Stevenson on 07740 067347
