Zoe Aldcroft sparkles as England hammer Scotland
Scarborough’s Zoe Aldcroft helped England Women’s rugby union team continue their flying start to the Six Nations as they romped to a 53-0 victory against Scotland on Monday.
The Gloucester-Hartpury lock put in a fine performance, carrying hard and playing the full 80 minutes in freezing conditions at a snowy Murrayfield.
The match was due to have taken place in Glasgow but because of Sunday’s extreme weather was moved to Edinburgh on Monday, where it was played behind closed doors.
