Neil Elvidge's men made 169 from their time at the crease, Darren Mills pushing forward their charge with an early 59, which was added to by Oliver Stephenson's 24.

After a number of wickets fell, Luke Tinsley made 37 and Linden Gray 25 to give Scarborough some hope.

But sadly Scarborough had no reply to the batting of Kyle Davis and George Harrison, who scored 66 and 90 respectively to carry Chester over the winning line with a number of overs to spare.
