The West Yorkshiremen are on a bit of a run at the moment and will be looking to make it four consecutive wins having beating North Ribblesdale, Old Brods and Heath on their last three outings.

This mirrors Scarborough’s situation a couple of weeks ago when they travelled to Beverley looking for a fourth win on the trot having beaten Yarnbury, Acklam and North Ribb in the preceding three games running in 20 tries in the process.

However it wasn’t to be and the men from Beaver Park were the best team on the day eventually running out 35-27 winners of a cracking game in which Scarborough only came alive after the break scoring three tries including one from Loni Loni playing his last game for the club.

Keighley had the upper hand in the corresponding game back in the autumn winning a close-fought affair 15-5, so coach Lee Douglas will look to his charges to gain revenge for that reverse on Saturday and has included centre Billy Parker, lock Phil Watson and returning South African Ethynne Terblanche in his squad while retaining veteran utility back Graeme Jeffrey.

Chris Purdy and Rich Scales are in the Vikings side who travel to Malton. All games now kick off at 3pm.
