Prop Nino Cutino opened the scoring in the fifth minute and the rampant Seasiders ran in five tries to earn a bonus point with only half of the match played.

Leading 31-3 at half-time and with second row Mikey Readman in the sin-bin having been yellow-carded just before the break, skipper Matty Jones’s men conceded a try only three minutes into the second half.

However that was merely a glitch and they dominated the rest of the game running in a further six touchdowns.

The fact that they’d grabbed a couple of tries of their own was scant consolation for the West Yorkshiremen as Scarborough recorded their biggest win of the season running up a tally of 69 points which included four thrilling tries from winger Matty Young.

The Seasiders are in great form having won seven out of their last eight games in what has been their strongest finish in Yorkshire One for quite some time.

Youngster Jonty Holloway had an outstanding first XV home derby.
