Sports quiz set to raise crucial funds

A sports quiz will take place at Scarborough RUFC next week to raise vital funds for Scarborough and District Sports Council’s grants scheme.

Every year the Sports Council dishes out grants to those involved in sport who need financial help, and next week’s quiz at Silver Royd will raise the necessary funds to do so.

The quiz will get under way at 7pm on Tuesday March 3 at Silver Royd and will cost £10 per team of four to enter.

There will also be a prize raffle on the night.
