Two sides struggling for form met in the Premier Division of the York League and it was Flixton who brought to an end a four-match losing streak beating Easingwold by six wickets.

With Kyle Waite (46), Max Cosgrove (31) and James Postill (30no) all in the runs the hosts total should perhaps have been more than the 165 all out they finished on, Jamie Nesfield (3-36) and Tom Norman (3-30) both picking up three wickets.

Norman completed a memorable day by top scoring with 41, and further contributions from both Will Hutchinson (38) and Will Norman (38) helped them ease to a comfortable win with more than 15 overs to spare.
