Here's how to get tickets for The Killers 2020 show in Middlesbrough ahead of the general release

Chart-topping rock band The Killers announced last week they would be bringing their UK and Ireland tour to the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough next year.

The Las Vegas band will also be releasing a new album, their sixth, ahead of the tour called Imploding The Mirage.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, but there is a way to get them earlier.

Where and when is it?

The band is playing the Riverside Stadium on Saturday June 13 2020, supported by The Manic Street Preachers.

It will be the second large concert staged at the venue following a successful show by Take That this summer to a 30,000 strong crowd.

When do tickets go on sale?

The general sale starts at 9am on Friday, November 22 and are expected to sell quickly.

How to get tickets before general sale?

Fans that pre-order the new album on CD or vinyl before 4pm today (Tuesday November 19) will receive a unique passcode for early access to pre-sale tickets for the UK and Ireland tour.

They will receive the passcode by email from 6pm tonight which will allow access to the pre-sale on Wednesday November 20 at 9am.

Fans have been warned that having a passcode does not guarantee tickets. Full information can be found here.
