Yorkshire Coast Morris Dancers is on the look-out for new members to join its long-established group.
Member June Richland said: “All are welcome of any age. You don’t have to be able to dance, it’s just about having fun and there’s a good social aspect to it too.
“We do different styles so there’s something that appeals to everybody. It’s good fun and it keeps you fit.”
The Scarborough-based group currently has members from Whitby, Thornton-le-Dale, Hunmanby and the surrounding areas.
Practice takes place every Thursday at the Sea Cadet Hall in East Sandgate from 7.45-9.15pm in winter.
Performances regularly takes place throughout the summer at Peasholm Park, Scalby Mills, Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby, for example.
