There is still time to see the summer season shows – Musicality and Big Night Out – at the YMCA Theatre in Scarborough.

Musicality – four shows in one – is on tonight and tomorrow at 7.30pm.

It features the best tunes from Mary Poppins, Hairspray, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

It is produced and directed by Kerry and David Nicholson with Sam Jewison doing the honours as musical director.

The show opens with a medley from Chitty Chitty Bang including Toot Sweets, Me Ol Bamboo and the title song – and moves to small town America for Hairspray.

Good Morning Baltimore and You Can’t Stop the Beat are highlights of the set.

Katie Doubtfire as Mary Poppins opens the second half with A Spoonsful of Sugar and then in steps Andrew Howson as Bet with Chim Chim Cheree and Step in Time.

Bringing the show to a close is Joseph – with hits including Close Every Door andy Any Dream Will Do.

Saturday it is the turn of Rowlies Academy of Dance in Big Night Out. It presents a collection of dance and music down the decades. There is a wartime medley and tributes to Michael Jackson and Britney Spears.

Magic act Vizage and West End performer Neil Hurst share the bill. The show starts at 7.30pm.
