People will be able to place their orders for festive goods at the Staintondale Village Hall Autumn Country Market next Saturday, October 6.
The event will feature Christmas cards and next year’s Staintondale Calendar, and Granny Lake will be taking orders for Christmas cakes.
A spokeswoman said there would also be lots of stalls offering toys, accessories and other possible Christmas presents.
She added: “Middlewood Willow Sculptures will visit the market for the first time, and, for winter gardeners, Town Farm Nurseries will be outside.
“And then there is the food, all from local sources. Seamer Fayre will return to the market with fresh meat, bacon, pasties and pies.
She added that The Little Cheese and Wine Shop would be offering a wide range of cheese, pickles, sauces and other exciting foods from the shop in Scarborough.
“As always, there will be fresh breads from Barnards of Fylingthorpe, and the ever-popular fresh vegetable stall,” she said.
Refreshments will be on sale throughout the day, with hot soups, sandwiches and a mouth-watering range of homemade cakes to enjoy with tea or coffee.
It will be open between 10.30am and 2.30pm and for further details please contact Pauline Lloyd on (01723) 870160.
