Each week throughout the holidays, youngsters can take part in a variety of themed activities at Scarborough museum.
Activities include: Spooky Tuesdays; DinoDay Wednesdays: Jurassic Thursdays – create your own landscape from the age of the dinosaurs. Plesiosaur Party Fridays.
Families will be able to take part in a selection of the above each Saturday and on Bank Holiday Monday.
Each fun day is a drop-in event from 11am to 4pm; booking not necessary.
On three days in August, special Dinosaur Coast Fun Days will be held from 10am to 4pm at venues in the borough, each one followed by an evening geology stroll starting at 6.30pm:
Wednesday August 1, Filey Museum, followed by a stroll on Filey Brigg.
Thursday August 16, Woodend, Scarborough, followed by a stroll on the Castle Headland.
Friday August 31, Whitby Museum, followed by a stroll on Whitby Beach.
Visitors to the Rotunda can also see the current exhibition, Scarborough’s Lost Dinosaurs. It can be seen until September.
