Tickets have gone on sale for the annaul Festive Spectacular at the Spa with Harry Gration hosting the occasion for the 11th year.
The BBC Look North presenter will be doing the compereing honours at the charity carol concert on Saturday December 15 at 7.30pm.
The event, now in its 15th year, also features singer Sue Blyth and Celebration Brass, which forms specially for the spectacular.
More than 150 school children from Scarborough and surrounding villages will alsobe on the stage to deliver the traditional Christmas programme
Local charities will benefit from the proceeds.
“Over the 15 years we have raised £60,000 and all for local charities,” said chairman of the organising committee Nigel Wood.
“We would urge everyone to come and celebrate Christmas with us and raise as much money as they can.
“This is a community event which brings the whole community together,” he said.
“We have regulars who come evry year and see it has a start to their Christmas,” said Mr Wood. “The programme is made up of carols and Christmas music to help people get into the spirit of the season.
“The Festive Spectacular is always popular and we would urge people to get their tickets early.
Mr Wood said preparations for next year’s event are already under way.
“We receive excellent local sponsorship and I’d like to thank all those involved in that. Without it we would struggle to put on the concert,” said Mr Wood.

Other Christmas celebrations at the Spa include the pantomime Mother Goose from Tony Peers Productions. It opens on December 11 and runs until January 1.
The Spa Orchestra sees in the New Year with a Viennese concert on Janury 1.
