SUPERSTAR rapper Plan B has been confirmed as the first headliner of next summer’s Dalby Forest concerts.

The Brit Award winner, 28, has announced a series of concerts in forests next summer as part of Forestry Commission Live Music, which will see him perform in spectacular woodland locations across the country.

Real name Ben Drew, the singer-songwriter will appear at Dalby on Saturday June 30.

He said, “It’s going to be a real adventure taking the Plan B show into the woods. I’m really up for this and hope to see you there.”

Plan B achieved commercial and critical success with his 2010 album, the soul-influenced The Defamation of Strickland Banks, which went on to become the fifth biggest seller of the year.

He follows a host of star names to have rocked the forest, including Paul Weller, Status Quo, Simple Minds, Travis, Embrace, Erasure and The Zutons.
