SCARBOROUGH’S very own ‘Elvis’ – Tony Skingle – is celebrating after his fundraising shows passed the £250,000 mark for good causes.

Mr Skingle is returning to The Spa for a spectacular show on New Year’s Eve.

The show will feature performances of Aloha from Hawaii, 68 Comeback Special and all the hit songs from the films.

He said: “I’ve been doing it for about 15 years and I enjoy it now more than ever. To be able to raise that amount of money for various causes is fantastic.

“The new year show is always spectacular, it should be a special night.”

Also featured at the event will be the Do-Be-Do Girls, The True Scarborough Las Vegas, the Dance Centre show team and Ellie and Katie Skingle.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the bar will remain open until 2am.

The show was sold out but further tickets have since been released.
