One of the best guitarists in the world, John Etheridge, brings his trio north to the Cask for Scarborough Jazz on Wednesday November 26.

Benn Crosland, electric bass and drummer Dave Tyas make up the band.

Both are well known musicians who have worked with many visiting soloists from the USA and top-flight British musicians.

John has an extraordinary diversity of experience, having worked with Soft Machine, Yehudi Menuhin, Stephane Grappelli, Pat Metheny, John Williams and Nigel Kennedy, and others.

The trio was formed in 1999 and its annual tours have become an established part of the jazz calendar.

They play across the country and in London to audiences that enthusiastically embrace their repertoire of standards, originals and blues/rock material.

This is an unmissable gig and tickets are £8 on the door and £7 in advance.

Advance tickets are sold at The Cask, The Bookshelf in Victoria Road and
from Record Revivals in Northway.

The music begins at 8.45pm.
