Entertainer Joe Longthorne is to return to the Yorkshire Coast later this year for two shows.
The multi-platinum selling recording artist will perform at Whitby Pavilion on Monday July 18 and then will return in the autumn to play Scarborough Spa on Tuesday October 4.
Celebrated on countless occasions by the Variety Club of Great Britain as an outstanding entertainer Joe’s shows include wonderful ballads and uptempo classics including Three Times a Lady, Love Is In The Air, I Believe I’m Gonna Love You, For Once In My Life and If I Never Sing Another Song.
Prepare to be astounded at his singing impressions of his colleagues in the music industry including Shirley Bassey Goldfinger, Barry Manilow Can’t Smile Without You and Matt Monro Portrait of my Love.
Joe had his own primetime Saturday ITV show in the 90s pulling in 12 million viewers every week.
He has sold out the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House and last year the London Palladium for his 60th birthday. Appearing with Joe will be his band, plus his support act, singer/guitarist Chris Berry.
Joe was born in Hull to musical parents, Fred a very talented musician and Teresa a very fine singer. Joe comes from a travelling background. It was soon evident that he had been born with a talent for singing, and at a tender age he entered a local talent contest and won the first prize, a large red toy car.
Tickets for both dates are now on sale priced at £20 and are available from both venues’ box office or visiting www.scarboroughspa.co.uk or www.whitbypavilion.co.uk
