Staxtonbury 5 will be bigger and better than ever beforewith more bands playing on more stages and more entertainment, say organisers.
The three-day festival runs from Friday July 5 to Sunday July 7.
New bands signed up this year include include York-based Huge who headline the main stage on Saturday night.
They will be supported by Scarborough’s Grand Urge and My Forever.
Other bands performing on include the Shamrockers and Soul Rida and Friday Street plus Staxtonbury debutantes Travelin Band from York.
Joining them will be Rupert Stroud, Mark Stanley, Becky Arundale and the Sultans of Thwing.
The 60s band The Applejacks will be performing in aid of Help the Heroes.
Wold Top Brewery provides real ales and just about every type of healthy cuisine and fast food will be on offer.
For the youngsters Magic Mike will be performing and there will be a number of free arts and crafts workshops, free tennis coaching, zumba presentations and music workshops.
There will also be a climbing wall, waterballs, age ranging bouncy castles and slides, clay modelling, hair braiding, face painting, tattoos along with shopping.
Free camping plus showers and water facilities will be available at the Staxton site, near Scarborough.
Times are: Friday from 5.30pm to late; Saturday from 11:30am until late and Sunday from 11:30am until 4pm.
