From the writer of Amateur Girl and The Thrill of Love comes comedy Satin ‘n’ Steel, at the Stephen Joseph Theatre next month in the first national tour of the play.

Against a backdrop of belting songs and powerful emotion, Satin ‘n’ Steel is a moving feel-good piece of theatre from Amanda Whittington, one of the UK’s most highly regarded playwrights.

Tom Roberts, as seen in Emmerdale, Doctors and 2point4 Children, plays Vince, and Kilke John, whose theatre credits include Crazy For You plays Teena.Playwright Amanda Whittington said: “It is 10 years since the first production but the themes of the play are still relevant, perhaps more so in times of austerity. “

Satin ‘n’ Steel is at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough, on Saturday April 4, Monday April 6 and Tuesday April 7, daily at 7.45pm
