Armed with a bigger budget and a penchant for madness, the Hairy Bikers will be riding into town for their own variety-style show.

While Si King and Dave Myers are most popular for their culinary talents – and the duo won’t be disappointing with two cookery sections in the upcoming show and the chance for two guests to join them for a meal – their Futurist date gives them free rein of the stage, and they’re not afraid to use it!

Among the unusual ‘wa-hey-heys’ the pair are set to be louder than ever when they bring their Larger Than Live show to Scarborough on October 18, calling it “an amazing crescendo to the end of the tour.”

Si King (pictured left) said: “Expect madness, the Tango, escapology, audience participation, a dip and strip wheel of fortune, songs, you name it.

No strangers to the town, the Hairy Bikers are looking ahead to their return where they hope to appeal to local tastes.

“In the past in Scarborough we’ve had an absolute riotous time, there’s a great sense of humour that Dave and I recognise,” added Si. “We know nationally everyone’s a bit miserable because of money, that’s the great thing about going on tour; we give good value for money and it’s a proper night out.”
