Three more shows for the Scarborough YMCA season

Three shows celebrating music from the movies and the West End complete the summer season line-up at the YMCA Theatre.

Scarborough-based production company NAP Music Productions presents Viva Las Vegas, West End Nights and From Movies To Musicals on Friday nights.

“We have produced shows at the YMCA before, with our first production being in 2009, but we have never done something on this scale before”, said theshow’s director, James Aconley. ‘

James will be singing in the shows along side Rebekah Kelly, Katie Gregson and Polly Aconley, who has appeared in productions at the YMCA and other local venues.

Viva Las Vegas is a whistlestop journey throughout Las Vegas, featuring songs from famous artists who have performed in Vegas such as Elton John, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion and Tom Jones and will be performed on Augustand 15.

West End Nights is a celebration of some of the best musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, Spamalot, Ghost and Miss Saigon. The show will be performed tomorrow and August 29. The final Friday night production will be From Movies To Musicals and will include classics from stage and screen. It will be performed on August 22.
