Scarborough Spa has announced two new acts for next year – Showaddywaddy and Roy Chubby Brown have both been booked.
As part of their extended 40th anniversary tour Showaddywaddy will perform in the Grand Hall on Saturday July 7.
The Leicester six-piece are still rocking and rolling after four decades and have sold more than 20 million records, clocking up 24 top 10 hits and have spent more than 200 weeks in the UK singles charts.
A night of nostalgia is in store as the band will perform numerous hits from their back catalogue including Under The Moon of Love, Three Steps to Heaven, Hey Rock & Roll, When, Blue Moon and Pretty Little Angel Eyes.
Comedian Roy Chubby Brown calls at the venue with his latest tour on Saturday August 9.
Both acts join The Spa’s evg 2014 programme which includes family shows Peter Pan on Ice and Bananas in Pyjamas, comedians Jason Manford, Ed Byrne and Chris Ramsey plus TV Psychic Sally Morgan.
