Theatre set to remember cinematic past

SCARBOROUGH’S Stephen Joseph Theatre is showing two special films to mark the building’s 75th anniversary.

The venue is putting on The Ghost Goes West and Rembrandt, starring Scarborough’s Charles Laughton, both originally screened in 1936, to celebrate the birthday.

The Ghost Goes West will be shown on Thursday November 3 at 2.45pm and Saturday November 5, from 5.30pm, with Rembrandt screened at 5.30pm on Thursday November 3 and Friday November 4, and 2.45pm on Saturday November 5.
