WELCOME to Yorkshire returned to TV last night as it launched its latest ad campaign.
The tourism body has secured prime time slots across key ITV regions and satellite channels, including the launch during the 7.45pm ad break in Coronation Street and just before The Dales which is attracting four million viewers every week.
A spokesman said: “Our TV ad has the campaign message - ‘So much, so near, so different. Have a Brilliant Yorkshire.’
“As people start to book their holidays we want to make sure they make the right choice and come to Yorkshire!”
The adverts will run until June and will be supported by a range of other marketing activity which will be announced at the Y12 conference at York Barbican later this month.
