A spokesperson said: “Looking back on childhood, it often felt like the world was a giant playground.

“We were unafraid to take risks; curious, mischievous, and carefree. We filled our days with adventure, used our imaginations freely, and created for pleasure, not productivity.

“Now, as adults faced with the pressures of modern life, having fun, experimenting, and getting lost in the moment are all but off the menu.

“We’re so busy working, and worrying, that we’ve lost touch with our bodies, and with our true selves.

“We think it’s time to change this sorry state of affairs. We believe that human beings were put here to play, not to be constantly productive, and that whether you’re young, or old, you should feel safe, and uninhibited enough to have fun.

“Because laughter is the best medicine, and in a difficult, uncertain world, it’s also the best weapon we have against living miserably.

“Our drama-based playfulness workshops for adults put silliness, and spontaneity back on the table, helping anxious, overwhelmed grown ups let go of their inhibitions, send their preconceptions packing, and find out what unfolds when the plot hasn’t already been written.

“We offer our workshops to teams from companies, who want a refreshing change from a traditional, and often tiresome corporate ‘away day’, for existing groups who want to try something brand new, or for individuals, who want to learn about themselves by hanging out, being daft with a bunch of strangers for a few hours.

“Play is not a dirty word. We designed our workshops to give people the opportunity to find connection, and joy, in moments of playfulness, and self-discovery. Anyone can attend. You don’t need to be drama trained.

“You just have to be prepared to let down your guard, and learn about yourself through laughter and experimentation.”
