Free admission into Sewerby Hall’s grounds and gardens
Admission to the Sewerby Hall and Gardens’ grounds and gardens is free of charge from now, until late March with the exclusion of the October Half term holidays.
Sewerby invites visitors to make the most of what the season has to offer, taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the grounds turn from summer into their autumnal shades.

Ran by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Sewerby is the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful walk and finish it off with a well-deserved treat from the Clock Tower café.
Sewerby offers scenic views of the East Yorkshire coast, perfect for dog walking. Dogs on leads are more than welcome on the grounds. However, they cannot enter Sewerby Hall House or zoo (with the exception of assistance dogs).
Visitors are kindly reminded to pick up after their dogs and dispose of waste responsibly to help keep the grounds clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Councillor Nick Coultish, cabinet member for culture, tourism and leisure at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: “Autumn is a wonderful time of year to explore Sewerby Hall and Gardens. From the scenic view of the Bridlington coast to the beautifully kept grounds and gardens, Sewerby makes for a wonderful day out and we look forward to seeing people take advantage of the free entry during this time.”
Standard admission charges apply to the house and zoo during this time.
The house is open weekends 11.30am to 3.30pm and the zoo is open daily 10am to 3.30pm (last admission to both the house and zoo, 3pm).
