Murder Comes to Scarborough in Agatha Christie’s The Mirror Crack’d
Following last year’s sold out success with Much Ado About Nothing 1917, Scarborough Theatre Company makes a highly anticipated return to the Scarborough Fringe with their second play, a stylish and suspenseful staging of Agatha Christie’s The Mirror Crack’d.
Set in the summer of 1964. The story follows glamorous Hollywood movie star Marina Gregg as she arrives in the sleepy village of St Mary Mead.

Excitement ripples through the residents, until a murder occurs.
As dark secrets surface, Miss Marple pieces together jealousy, obsession, and a chilling motive hidden behind fame and glamour.

Audience favourite Rachel Fearnehough, who delighted crowds last year as the elegant Lady Leonora, returns in the iconic role of Miss Marple.
She is joined by Amy Wilson, starring as the enigmatic and dazzling Marina Gregg.
Director George Wakely shared his excitement about returning to the Fringe. He said: “I am thrilled to be returning . As a lifelong admirer of Christie, it’s an honour to bring her unforgettable characters to life.”
Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mirror Crack’d’ comes to Queen Street Methodist Church Friday June 12 to Sunday June 14 with performances at 2.30pm and 7.30pmpm.
Tickets available through the Scarborough Fair website.
