Adrian Rawlings is the artistic director and theatre manager is Sue Kirkham. The theatre stages its own professional productions including an annual Christmas show and hosts touring companies, music gigs and comedy nights.

It has set up a text donations system.

This is how it works:

You can donate any amount, no matter how big or small, to suit your budget. Simply text ERTATHOME followed by the amount you'd like to donate.

For example to donate £1 you'd text ERTATHOME 1 to 70490 or to donate £50 you'd text ERTATHOME 50 to 70490.

After you have donated you will receive two text messages. The first will ask you if you'd like to Gift Aid your donation.

Your donation to the theatre could be worth 25 per cent more - at no extra cost to you - when you Gift Aid it.

Gift Aid helps the venue to raise more money from your donation, by signing up to Gift Aid. Gift Aid is a scheme that allows registered charities like East Riding Theatre to claim back the tax paid on donations, which means we get more out of the money you give to us.

Any donations under Gift Aid, will give us an extra 25p for every £1. Imagine what a difference that little bit extra could make.

YES!

The second text message you will receive will ask you if you'd like to make a monthly contribution to East Riding Theatre. If that is not something you'd like to do, you can ignore this message. If you feel you'd like to support the theatre on a monthly basis simply opt in by replying YES and your money will go towards keeping the theatre thriving long after this virus has passed.
