Three Bridlington schools to rock Christ Church with Remarkable Arts
This Saturday (March 21) three Bridlington Primary Schools will be taking to the stage for their own rock concerts at Christ Church on Quay road as part of the Schools Rock project.
Bay Primary, Burlington Infants and Burlington Junior schools have spent the past 10 weeks working alongside Bridlington based Remarkable Arts, learning sign language and singing, and now they're ready to show the town what they've been doing.

Learning classic rock songs, signed with Makaton, the schools will be performing with a team of professional musicians, alongside the signing leaders.
Project leader Mark Howley said: “All of the children have worked so hard over the sessions, learning all the signs, and we really encourage locals to come along and support them – even if you don't have children in the schools.
“This is a real community project – it's entirely free to the schools, and tickets are just £6 and £4 for kids. We can do this because of the unbelievable financial support we’ve had, primarily from local business Hudson contract and their amazing foundation, but also from individuals such as Stephen and Judy Turner.
“If you want to support us and help us to continue to provide this project for free to local schools, just grab a ticket!"
The tickets are available from remarkablearts.net and via 07943 276496, priced at £6 and £4 for kids.
There are four concerts across the day, with the two Burlington Schools performing at 10.15am and noon, and Bay Primary performing at 2pm and 3.45pm.
Info about which classes are performing at which concerts is available via remarkablearts.net. Each concert lasts around an hour.
