Auction date set for Tennyson Arms in Scarborough - and its starting price has been reduced
A date has been set for the auction of a popular Scarborough pub.
The Tennyson Arms, on Dean Road, is listed online with a starting price of £200,000, a reduction on the original starting price of £240,000.
According to its listing on property website Right Move, it is a “mock Tudor-style freehold pub” which has two bars and comes with a six-bedroom maisonette above.
There is a front bar with fixed perimeter seating as well as a back bar with access to a cellar.
The maisonette is accessed from a separate door from Dean Road and leads to two floors of spacious accommodation including a lounge, kitchen, six bedrooms, study, bathroom and shower room.
Three of the bedrooms are en-suite and there is also a roof terrace.
The pub is up for sale with CPH Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors.
The end date for the auction has been set for noon on Friday August 14.
