Linda, who has her business premises in Eastborough, Scarborough, opened her shop and workshop in April 2018 following an illustrious career with the famous Betty’s Tearooms brand, where Linda was team leader for more than 10 years. During her time with the tearoom, her cakes were served to members of the Royal Family.

Linda said: “It was a wonderful set of awards to enter with some hugely talented cake creators taking part.

“It was nerve-wracking waiting for the results, especially as it was the first event at the Cake Professionals Awards.

“I have a passion for making cakes and these can be for birthdays, weddings and other life celebrations.

“I certainly hope to enter the awards again next year.”
