Building society collects £500 worth of gifts for community centre

Thanks to the generosity of kind-hearted members, colleagues, and the local community, these donations will help ensure that local people of all ages experience the joy of Christmas.

The gifts donated included everything from children’s toys to perfume for seniors, along with festive treats, toiletries, and warm winter essentials.

All items were redistributed by New Pasture Lane Community Centre to families and individuals who might otherwise have gone without during Christmas.

James Smith, from the Bridlington branch, said: “Our Christmas cause collection on behalf of New Pasture Lane Community Centre has come to a close, and we are overwhelmed by the incredible support from our local community and members.

“In times when budgets are tight, the generosity of the people of Bridlington has ensured that people of all ages will feel the joy of Christmas this year and shown the true spirit of Christmas.”
