Care company celebrates 15-year anniversary in Scarborough

Happy Futures, the organisation behind the ‘Treetops’ development of supported-living bungalows in Scarborough, is marking its fifteen year anniversary.
The company provides high-quality, bespoke care and accommodation for people with Autism, learning and physical disabilities, mental health and complex needs ensuring support tailored to each individual.
CEO Angela Fletcher said: “Fifteen years ago, Happy Futures Support Specialists Ltd opened our first service in Whitby. What began as a simple yet powerful idea to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care has grown into a specialist support provider and a leading light across Yorkshire.
"From those early days to where we are now, the journey of Happy Futures has been incredible, and we are now running services in both West & East Yorkshire too.”
The company was originally built on four key goals: helping individuals reach their potential, championing independence, advocating for rights, and investing in people. Today, Happy Futures supports sixteen individuals in Scarborough, holds an Outstanding rating from the CQC, and has achieved numerous regional and national awards.
The organisation also provides dementia support at its Cosy Corner Day Centre in Scarborough. Beyond the local area, Happy Futures supports a further thirteen individuals in West Yorkshire and has recently expanded its services into Hull.
Mrs Fletcher said: “We are a values‑led organisation that leads from the front with energy, enthusiasm and an unwavering focus on quality. Our growth hasn’t happened by accident.
"It has been built on strong foundations, brave decisions, continuous learning and a commitment to doing the right thing, even when it’s hard. Most importantly, it has been driven by people.”
