The store will see the company relocate from the site at Bessingby Way while creating 10 new jobs.

An Aldi spokesperson said: “We will begin construction of our new store in Bridlington in April and plan to open the store in late Autumn.

“This is a relocation of our current store in Bridlington that is located on Bessingby Way.

“The new larger, more modern store will provide an improved shopping experience with a brighter store and improved layout.

“The new store will create up to 10 new jobs with our existing store staff relocating.”
