June Appleton painted recognisable Christmas icons on the windows of the care home’s orangery as part of The Hall’s festive celebrations.

The images were a surprise to the residents at The Hall, who had the festive display revealed to them upon completion.

Staff members sealed the room off while the windows were being painted to ensure that the room was covid-secure.

Nicky Beach, home manager at The Hall care home, said: “We always pull out the stops to make sure Christmas is special at The Hall, so we are thrilled June came in to paint our orangery windows for Christmas.

“She has done an amazing job and it makes The Hall feel much more merry and bright.”
