Local graphic designer lands UK Small Business Award
Scarborough-based graphic designer Anja Drop, founder of Notch Media, has been named Best Graphic Design Business at the UK Small Business Awards 2025.
The award recognises Anja’s outstanding work in graphic design and branding, celebrating creativity, quality, and impact within the UK’s small business community.
Finalists at the UK Small Business Awards are assessed by a panel of three independent judges, with scores averaged to determine final rankings.
Only the Top 10 finalists in each category are revealed live at the Grand Final.
In addition to the accolade, Anja was also Highly Recommended in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year category – a further acknowledgement of her leadership, vision, and entrepreneurial success.
Although unable to attend the awards ceremony in person, Anja watched the event via livestream and described the moment her name was announced as unforgettable.
She said: “I couldn’t make the show in person, so I was watching on the livestream, and I honestly couldn’t believe it when I saw my name pop up. It was completely surreal and such an emotional moment.
“Winning Best Graphic Design Business of 2025 for Notch Media as an independent designer is an incredible honour.
“I’m so grateful to my clients and collaborators who trust me with their ideas.”
